Assistant Controller

Base Salary - $70,000 - $90,000
This position will support the Americas Controllership organization, and coordinate as necessary with other areas of Finance including the Americas CFO, FP&A, Manufacturing Finance, Commercial Finance, and Global
Controllership. It will provide analysis and aid in closing and reporting for the Americas pole.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Coordinate, monitor, and report on the monthly account reconciliation process for the pole
- Oversee the Due to/Due from process and facilitate resolution of issues within and between poles
- Manage the eRep process including review of all site letters and preparation of pole GPC letter
- Ensure compliance with all scheduled SOX compliance requirements
- Coordinate and prepare detailed balance sheet analysis quarterly
- Faciliate review of all Open Purchase Orders quarerly
- Prepare quarterly footnotes according to global controllership guidelines
- Partner with external auditors to facilitate quarterly reviews and annual audit
- Prepare monthly Gladden reports for pole Controller and CFO to report polar Due to/Due from status
- Participate in monthly Jupiter closing calls and provide guidance as needed
- Monitor key accounts throughout the monthly close process
- Coordinate with Global Controllership to drive company-wide consistency in accounting and reporting
- Perform account reconciliations according to controllership guidelines- Coordinate multiple US Government census filings
Required Skills Required Education and Professional Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree required in finance, accounting, or business
- -Minimum of 3 years professional experience
- CPA or public accounting experience, preferred
Required Work Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years professional experience
- Experience using the following systems: SAP, Microsoft Suite
Required Technical/Business Skills and Knowledge:
- Demonstrated excellent accounting / financial analysis skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet work and project deadlines producing high quality output
- Strong PC and systems familiarity; excellent MS Office Suite skills using Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook
