Systems Administrator/Developer

Description
Synergy One is searching for Systems Administrator/Developer looking for a challenging job allowing use of his/her Programming and Application Administration knowledge and skills to its fullest. A hard worker, diligent and thorough in approaching tasks, is not afraid to put in extra effort to gain a better process/system and capable of thinking outside the box on addressing issues.
The Systems Administrator/Developer should have a very broad background having been exposed to and worked on many different technologies. Experience should include programming interfaces or migration scripts in C# or VB.NET.
Requirements:
• 8 + total years of experience in support and maintenance of the applications and databases,
• At least 5 years of recent experience as SQL Server DBA or SQL Developer
• Has successfully performed/managed the upgrade/implementation on SQL Server 2005 or 2008
• Prior experience in providing guidance and support of Application Developers on proper database design and coding practices
In addition as the SQL DBA you will be responsible for the following:
• Provide all day to day maintenance of production databases
• Interface with users and development groups on application design.
• Provide and Update Entity Relationship Diagrams for all databases
• Insure proper mapping of logical database design to Physical structure
• Overall management of Development/Test Systems
Technical Requirements:

MS Visual Studio and .NET
SQL Server DTS packages
Microsoft IIS
Web Servers
