VC++ , Regression Testing, Assembely, X86, COTS

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

•Understanding customer requirements and working the project engineer and customer to resolve any open issues.
•Developing design documents using UML as well as a written design document.
•Developing and coding using C++, C , C .net.
•Developing stored procedures, queries in SQL Server 2005.
•Developing unit test plans and performing unit test.
•Developing integration test plans and performing integration test.

The specific requirements are:

•Degree in Computer Science with minimum 5 years of hands on experience in software design, development, testing, implementation on MS Windows platform.
•Experience in design and development of component based software using COM, Microsoft COM+ , VC++ and .NET framework
•Experience in Web application design and development using ASP.Net
•Will be required to design, develop, test and troubleshoot queued components, components that publish and subscribe to events, components with object pooling, components with management interface, multi-threaded components, shared property manager, XML based message interchange.
•Developing COM+ components using Microsoft VC++ or VC .
•TCP/IP sockets programming using VC++ * Develop reports using Active Reports or Crystal Reports.
•Experience in Microsoft SQL Server including database design, developing stored procedures, and understanding of transaction processing, locking concepts, trouble shooting performance issues in queries, triggers and views.
•Familiarity with OPC (OLE for process control) technology (essentially derived from COM technology)

• Knowledge of Windows Server 2003 OS architecture, and performance monitoring.

•Familiarity with Microsoft SourceSafe or Subversion.
•Competency in creating UML based design documents.
•Understanding of software project management practices.
•Should have excellent written communication skills and be able to produce usable documentation.
•Must be proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
